The horse-shoe type plastic hoof fitting (1) has two limbs (2,3) connected within the front area of the hoof fitting. The ends (4,5) of the limbs are at a distance from each other at rear side. The hoof of the animal is fitted and turned towards the upper side and the lower side. The hoof is turned towards the base. The hoof fitting has an opening with a thread and the opening is accessible from the lower surface.
