<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of an abnormal voltage caused by a self-excitation action which is generated when a capacitive load is connected as a load of a generator. <P>SOLUTION: An output voltage regulator AVR27 which supplies a current obtained by rectifying an output of an exciting winding 5 to a field winding 3 according to variations in the output voltage of the generator comprises a flywheel diode 41 connected to the field winding 3 in parallel therewith. A first exciting voltage determination portion 45 determines whether or not an output voltage of the exciting winding 5 is a predetermined voltage value or higher. When the determination of the first exciting voltage determination portion 45 is affirmative, a MOSFET 38 is switched off to interrupt power supply to the field winding 3. After the MOSFET 38 is stopped, the second exciting voltage determination portion 48 is activated after a prescribed period of time. An engine stop means 49 is provided that stops an engine when the determination of the second exciting voltage determination portion 48 is affirmative again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
