PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for friction stir welding for the members to be welded for subjecting curved face parts to friction stir welding, and to provide a welded body structure. SOLUTION: Regarding the joint, the welding edge faces 1a, 2a of the members 1, 2 to be welded lie in curved face parts, and, into a joint 5 obtained by butting each welding edge face, a probe 112 of a tool 110 for friction stir welding is inserted. At the welding edge parts of the members 1, 2 to be welded, projecting parts 3 having a flat working face 4 orthogonal to the welding edge faces 1a, 2a are formed, and, with the projecting parts 3, the working face 4 is made almost coincident with a product face 6 after the removal of the projecting parts 3 at the positions of the welding edge faces 1a, 2a.
