PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cleaning molds for molding polyurethanes which easily removes residues on the molds for molding polyurethanes without using materials designated in the Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (PRTR) and a method for cleaning molds for molding polyurethanes. SOLUTION: In polyurethane molding machine 100, warm water for cleaning is supplied to gap H between a rotor 20 and an outer circumferential wall 50 through piping P6 and P8 and after air blow of compressed air with specified pressure is jetted through piping P8a, air flush is intermittently jetted through piping P9.
