METHOD FOR PRODUCING UNNATURAL TYPE SUGAR CHAIN DERIVATIVE AND RAW MATERIAL OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an unnatural type sugar chain derivative by transferring a natural sugar chain to a cyclohexane derivative which is not the derivative of the sugar. SOLUTION: This method for producing the unnatural type sugar chain derivative comprises a process of transferring an N-bonded type sugar chain to the cyclohexane derivative in which a secondary hydroxy group is bonded on at least one carbon atom among the carbon atoms constituting a cyclohexane ring and a hydroxymethyl group is bonded on at least one carbon atom in the carbon atoms adjacent to the carbon atom bonded with the secondary hydroxy group.
