PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment container for a rotary type treatment apparatus which is capable of satisfying safety, accuracy, simplification, rapidness and low cost in maintenance, and to provide a useful and beneficial rotary type treatment apparatus of a material to be treated which is constituted by using the treatment container. SOLUTION: The treatment container 33 is provided with a plurality of arched members 33A-33D for forming a single cylinder, which has member profile of the cylindrical vertical division type and one or more switch supporting mechanisms to support one or more arched members 33A-33D so that they are freely switched and transferred. These plural arched members 33A-33D are relatively arranged so that the plural arched members 33A-33D can be cylindrically closed and non-cylindrically opened. The one or more arched members 33A-33D are supported so that they can be switched and transferred via the switch supporting mechanism for the arched members.
