An ELISA kit for detecting Sudan red includes: a plate coated with a coating molecule, enzyme labeled molecule, Sudan red standard solution, substrate and color developing solution, stop solution, concentrated washing solution and concentrated diluting solution. The kit can also include: specific antibody concentrated solution to Sudan red and diluting solution for concentrated antibody. A detecting method for Sudan red with said ELISA kit, which includes the steps: firstly, pretreating samples; then detecting the samples with the kit; lastly, analyzing the results.
