PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for game machine capable of surely preventing fraudulent actions in consideriation of the using conditions of the game machine in a hall such as a prize ball recompense action by a hall staff. SOLUTION: The controller for game machine comprises: a drive signal generation means for generating opening command signals for opening the movable part of a movable winning device; a winning neglecting mode setting means for setting a winning neglecting mode for neglecting winning detection signals when the opening command signals are not present; a compensation mode setting means for setting a compensation mode; a prize ball operation control means for performing a prize ball operation corresponding to the winning detection signals when the compensation mode is set even when the winning neglecting mode is set; and a canceling means for canceling the compensation mode when the establishment of a prescribed condition is detected further.
