A sewage treating apparatus is provided to remove sludge from purified water conveniently, by upraising sand, which is deposited on a bottom surface of a purified water treating tank, using a sand upraising screw repeatedly so as to filter off the sludge contained in the purified water. A sewage treating system is composed of a sewage collecting bath for collecting sewage and wastewater, and a sewage treating bath for purifying the sewage with microorganisms, etc. A sewage treating apparatus(10) is connected to the sewage treating bath to receive purified water treated by the sewage treating system. The sewage treating apparatus filters off sludge contained in the purified water to discharge the filtered water to the outside or re-supply the filtered water to the sewage treating bath. The sewage treating apparatus includes a purified water treating tank(30), and a sand upraising unit(A) having a sand upraising screw(42). The sand raising unit is installed vertically from a bottom surface of the purified water treating tank. The sand raising unit upraises sand deposited on the bottom surface of the purified water treating tank to filter off the sludge contained in the purified water. |
