A bush for a transmission is provided to enhance lubricative property of the bush by forming an inner part of the bush with sintered phosphorous copper alloy and an outer part of the bush with low carbon steel. A bush for a transmission has inner and outer parts made of different metals. Inner part of the bush is made of sintered phosphorous copper alloy, whereas the outer part of the bush is made of low carbon steel. The inner part of the bush is made by mixing 84 to 89% of cupper, 8 to 11% of tin, 0.3% nickel, 0.3% by weight of zinc, 0.2% by weight of iron, 0.05% by weight of antimony, and 0.05 to 0.5% by weight phosphor. Any one of solids lubricants selected from MoS2, WS2, and graphite, 2 to 8% by weight of the solid lubricant is added to the above mixture.
