<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a memory capacity used for calculation because path routing calculation graphs are not increased in proportion to even an increase in the number of multiplexed wavelengths. <P>SOLUTION: The path routing calculation method in an optical communication network comprising a wavelength convertible sub network with paths in mesh connection, a wavelength nonconvertible first sub network comprising a plurality of nodes and including a start point node, and a wavelength nonconvertible second sub network comprising a plurality of nodes and including an end point node, includes the steps of: defining a node with a port connected to the wavelength convertible sub network as a border node and obtaining a path from the start point node up to the border node in the wavelength nonconvertible first sub network as to the wavelength nonconvertible first sub network; and obtaining a path from tne end point node up to the border node in the wavelength nonconvertible second sub network as to the wavelength nonconvertible second sub network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
