<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier with good handleability by providing a water level detection means and controlling equipment according to the detected water level. <P>SOLUTION: This dehumidifier is provided with a dehumidifier main body 1 dehumidifying moisture in air; a water storage tank 2 provided at the lower part of the dehumidifier so as to be freely loaded and unloaded; a water level detecting float 6 detecting the water level moving according to a water amount stored in the water storage tank 2; magnetic sensors 10a, 10b, 10c for detecting magnets 9a, 9b provided to the float 6; a water level display part 17 provided to the outer part of the dehumidifier main body 1 for displaying the water level; and a control pat 11 controlling the dehumidifier main body 1.
