PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method manufacturing a thread rolling die inexpensively by reducing the working cost. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a thread rolling die 1 comprises a rolling step of rolling a shaft-like member 50 having a so-called double screw 51 formed therein on a die material, and first and second working teeth 31, 32 are form-rolled. In other words, only an outer circumferential surface of the shaft-like member 50 may be ground; and the grinding area can be reduced in comparison with a case in which the entire form rolling surface of the die material is ground.
