PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes drying apparatus capable of protecting a compressor by detecting leakage of a refrigerant. SOLUTION: When a temperature detected by an air temperature detecting means 71 becomes a first prescribed temperature or less and a temperature detected by a refrigerant temperature detecting means 72 becomes a second prescribed temperature or more in a state where the compressor 35 of a heat pump device 51 operates at a prescribed rotating speed or more, this clothes drying apparatus stops the compressor 35.
