PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a gas governor comprising a diaphragm, that a phenomenon that a secondary pressure becomes higher than a set pressure when a pressure receiving area of the diaphragm becomes smaller than an area of an opening from a primary pressure chamber to a secondary pressure chamber, and further flame failure may occur when the secondary pressure is limited to be lower than the set pressure in a small flame state, though it is desired that the secondary pressure is limited to be lower than the set pressure when the primary pressure rises with the opening largely opened, that is, a large flame state. SOLUTION: The pressure receiving area of the diaphragm 6 is set larger than the area D1 of the opening 21 in the large flame state, and the pressure receiving area of the diaphragm 6 is gradually increased from D2 to D3 in accordance with the change from a valve close state to a full-open state.
