PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which effectively re-heats cooked rice during warming without making the cooked rice dry, and at the same time, reduces the warming smell of the cooked rice. SOLUTION: This rice cooker includes a pot 14, a pot heating means 15, a lid body 17, a lid heating plate 20 which heats the inside of the pot, a lid heating means 23 which heats the lid heating plate 20, a water container 19 which stores water, and a water feeding means 25 which feeds water from the water container to the lid heating plate. The lid heating plate 20 is provided with a steam generating section 20a which forms water into steam, and a steam inputting port 20b which inputs the formed steam into the pot. At the time of re-heating of cooked rice during warming, water is fed from the water container 19 to the steam generating section 20a, and the lid heating means 23 is operated. Thus, at the time of re-heating of the cooked rice during warming, a required proper amount of steam can be input into the pot, and the re-heating can be performed without making the cooked rice dry.
