发明名称 THERMAL HEAD AND PRINTING DEVICE
摘要 A thermal head and a printing device are provided to enhance thermal efficiency by preventing heat discharging to a glass layer from a heater by forming a groove on the glass layer. A thermal head includes a glass layer(21), a heat generation resistor, a pair of electrodes(23a,23b), and a heat generation section(22a). The glass layer includes a protruding section(25) and a concave groove section(26). The protruding section is formed on a surface of the glass layer and has a bigger curvature radius in a central portion than both sides thereof. The concave groove section is formed on the other surface of the glass layer facing the protruding section and has a width which is same with or longer than the length of the heat generation section. The heat generation resistor is installed on the protruding section. The pair of electrodes are installed on both sides of the heat generation resistor. The heat generation section is a part of the heat generation resistors exposed between the pair of the electrodes.
