A spectrum image processing method for robust unmix into measurement noise and a spectrum image processing program are provided. In the spectrum image processing method, contributions of a plurality of substances to an observed spectrum image acquired from an observation object are unmixed according to the observed spectrum and data on the emission spectra of the substances (S4) contained in the observation object. The spectrum image processing method is characterized by including evaluation procedures (S1, S2) of evaluating the reliability of each component of the observed spectrum image on the basis of the predicted spectrum image of the observed spectrum image and a reflection procedure (S3) of reflecting the results of the evaluation on the contents of the unmix.
