<p>A polarizing plate joining device comprises a first polarizing plate joining unit (600) and a second polarizing plate joining unit (700). They have frame members (601, 701) provided rotatably around rotational axes (P11, P12) respectively and each having four side surfaces. Therefore, while the polarizing plates (2, 3) are joined to a liquid crystal substrate (1) at a polarizing plate joining station (S14), a step of separating releasing films from the polarizing plates (2, 3) at a releasing film separating station (S13) and a step of receiving the polarizing plates (2, 3) at a polarizing plate receiving station (S11) can be simultaneously executed. With this, a polarizing plate joining apparatus having a not-increased footprint thereof even though the size of the color liquid crystal display is increased can be provided.</p> |
