PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control unit for electric vehicle which stably maintains communications between control units. SOLUTION: This power supply control unit includes: a standby power supply generator for generates standby power supply using an auxiliary battery power supply applied from an auxiliary battery, and also for generating a MCU (micro control unit) reset signal for resetting a MCU when a MCU reset signal generation condition exists; a drive power supply generator for generating a drive power supply supplied to a power consuming apparatus using electric supply applied from the standby power supply generator, when a drive power supply generation condition exists; and an operation controller.
