PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw-shaped electro-deposited tool having a balance adjusting mechanism and capable of improving balanced nature of the screw-shaped electro-deposited tool without generating large vibration at the time of high speed rotation, and a method for adjusting balance of the screwed-shaped electro-deposited tool. SOLUTION: In this screw-shaped electro-deposited tool 11, tool base metal 12 having an external shape formed into a substantially cylindrical shape and an outer peripheral face of the cylinder formed into a screw shape is provided, and abrasive grain made of a cemented carbide material is electro-deposited on the tool base metal 12. At an end part of the tool base metal 12, the balance adjusting mechanism 14 is arranged in a ring-shape toward the peripheral direction of the cylinder to adjust radial weight distribution of the tool base metal 12 over the peripheral direction.
