PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for washing a long length root vegetable, systematizing a series of works such as washing, selecting, packing in a box, etc., so as to enable rationalization and work saving in shipping by enabling the automatic continuous washing of flat-formed long yams or Japanese radishes with leaves, which had to be washed manually. SOLUTION: This device for washing the long length root vegetable, equipped with a high pressure water-jetting means performing the washing by spraying high pressure water toward a subject to be washed and having a roll brush 16 for washing inside, arranged along longitudinal direction, a roll brush 18 for washing outside, positioned at the outside and a brush 20 for preventing splash for the subject to be washed, positioned in upper direction is provided by implanting brush hairs which are hair-implanted on the inside-washing roll brush 16 and outside-washing roll brush 18 by inclining them in progressing direction of the subject to be washed so as to be able to wash the subject to be washed without hurting them.
