摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve with improved atomization of fuel spray while maintaining directivity of the spray and accuracy of a flow rate in the fuel injection valve for a gasoline engine. SOLUTION: This fuel injection valve has a plurality of nozzle ports 12, and has a flat surface 13c substantially parallel to a nozzle port plate 11 in a tip part of a valve element. A nozzle port inlet part 12a is arranged inside a virtual envelope line 15 of crossing a nozzle port plate upstream side plane with an extension of an inner wall on the downstream side of a seat part of a valve seat and outside the flat part on the tip of the valve element. A perpendicular distance (h) between the flat part on the tip of the valve element in a valve opening state and the nozzle port plate upstream side plane, has the relationship of h < d to an nozzle port inlet diameter (d).
