PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display method, image display program, recording medium recording the image display program, and image display device capable of executing a slide show to display specific images in synchronization with a pause between pieces of music. SOLUTION: The image display method for the image display device makes a control means 216 to execute the following steps: a sound file selection step for selecting one sound file or more; a start image selection step for selecting an image to be displayed first every sound file; a display image selection step for selecting one or more images to be displayed after the image to be displayed first; a sound reproduction step for reproducing every selected sound file; a start image display step for displaying the image to be displayed first in accompaniment with reproduction start of the sound file; and a selected image display step for displaying images to be displayed later respectively.
