PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus which do not make the outside of a spout wet when filling up a foil bag with the spout with liquid. SOLUTION: The method includes a step for attaching the spout 3 on a filling aperture 4, a step for evacuating the foil bag 2 through the spout 3, a step for filling the foil bag 2 with the liquid through the spout 3, a step for sucking the liquid from the filling aperture 4 and a step for discharging aseptic gas into the foil bag 2 through the spout 3. The apparatus 1 is equipped with the filling aperture 4 for attaching the spout 3 of the bag 2 on the filling aperture 4 in the position of the spout, liquid passages 29. 30 led from a liquid supplying pipe conduit 5 to the filling aperture 4 and being made to be intercepted with a packing valve 6, gas passages 32, 33 led from gas supplying pipe conduits 23, 24 to the filling aperture 4 and terminated in the downstream of the packing valve 6 within the liquid passages 29, 30 in which a gas valve 9 is prepared in its inside and the gas supplying pipe conduits 23, 24 which can be connected with a vacuum pipe conduit 27 or an aseptic gas pipe conduit 28.
