<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand for portable musical instrument which can be easily taken out from a room and which can be easily put into the room and whose movement can be performed without difficulty. <P>SOLUTION: When an operator releases the support of a pedestal part 2 by a supporting board 33a, the pedestal part 2 begins rotation in the direction of an arrow A by the self-weight of the pedestal part 2 and is stopped by being abutted on the bending part 32b of a frame 32. Next, when the operator pushes a frame 31 in the direction of an arrow B, the frame 31 approaches the frame 32 and in response to this, the frame 32 approaches a frame 33 and spaces among frames are reduced to predetermines spaces.
