摘要 <p>The spinning rotor, of an open-end spinner, is composed of at least two functional parts. One part acts as the body of the rotor with the mechanical connection to spin the fibers into a yarn, and the carrier forms the other part with at least one permanent magnet (410) for the electrical rotor function. The open-end spinning rotor has a permanent magnet within its body, or a ring-shaped permanent magnet is at the trailing and/or leading end of the rotor body within an auxiliary neck section (416). The neck has the shape of a cylinder mantle, for the permanent magnet to sit against its inner surface. The permanent magnet is bonded to the rotor body by an adhesive or soldering. The rotor body can have a groove, to accommodate the permanent magnet, in the rotor body between the outer peripheral wall and the inner wall (411) or within the inner wall. The rotor can have a permanent magnet layer over all or at least part of the inner wall length, between the leading and trailing ends. A protective coating covers the permanent magnet.</p>
