PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission/reception circuit capable of preventing life degradation and damage of a reception-system high-frequency amplifier due to excess input. SOLUTION: The transmission/reception circuit is provided with a transmission part 20 for generating and outputting transmission signals; an antenna part 10 comprising both a transmission antenna 11 for radiating transmission signals as radio waves into space and a reception antenna 12 for receiving radio waves, which reach a target and are reflected by the target; and a reception part 30 for converting analog signals, which are acquired by down-converting reception signals outputted from the reception antenna into a prescribed frequency band, into digital signals and outputting them; an input signal monitoring part 40 for monitoring the input level of input signals inputted to the reception part 30; and a signal processing part (control means) 50 for blocking or attenuating input signals to the reception part 30 on the basis of output signals of the input signal monitoring part 40.
