PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an oiling permission cannot be obtained when an abnormality occurs on a communication system between a POS body and a meter. SOLUTION: A fuel supplying system 10 includes a plurality of fuel supplying units 16, a control computer 20, and the POS body 21. Each fuel supplying unit 16 has a meter 24, a setter 26 mounted on the meter 24, and an automatic payment machine 28. The setter 26 has a touch panel 49 serving both as a displaying device and an inputting device, and has a means (abnormality detecting means) which detects the occurrence of an abnormality on the POS body 21, a means (permitting means) which acts in place of the POS body 21 to output a permission signal to the fuel supplying unit 16 in occurrence of an abnormality on the POS body 21 is detected, and a means which stores data on fuel supply in case of abnormality of the POS body 21, and transfers the data on fuel supply to be transmitted to the POS body 21 to the POS body 21 when the POS body 21 returns to normal.
