<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush capable of reciprocatingly driving a brush part in both directions, or the direction along the tooth face and the direction perpendicular to the tooth face. <P>SOLUTION: This electric toothbrush is provided with a grip part 10, an actuator 21 incorporated in the grip part, a tip side part 50 having a head part 30 filled with bristles and slidably mounted on the grip part 10, and a transmission part 60 slidably supported at the grip part 10 and transmitting the driving of the actuator to the tip side part as the reciprocating movement in the axial direction of the tooth brush. This electric toothbrush is characterized in that the tip side part 50 is provided with movable parts 31a and 35 filled with bristles and movable in the bristle filling direction, and rigidity reducing parts 32a and 42 for generating the swinging in the bristle filling direction to the movable parts 31a and 35 as the transmission part 60 moves reciprocatingly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
