PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a chloroprene rubber having excellent processing stability without deteriorating the color tone which is unattainable by conventional chloroprene rubbers. SOLUTION: The chloroprene rubber contains 0.005-0.025 pt.wt. of phenothiazine and 0.02-0.13 pt.wt. of octylated diphenylamine and/or 4,4'-(α,α'-dimethylbenzyl)diphenylamine based on 100 pts.wt. of the chloroprene rubber.
