PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the vibration of a windshield glass of a vehicle during its running and enlarge the collision energy absorbing amount when an object collides with the lower part of the windshield glass. SOLUTION: The cowl structure of the vehicle is configured so that the fore-and-aft length L2 along the lower side face of the body of a cowl outer 22 from the tail K2 of a coupling part of the supporting part 22B of the cowl outer 22 with the upper mounting part 30B of a brace 30 to the forefront K1 of a coupling part of a flange 24B on a cowl inner 24 with a flange 22C on the cowl outer 22 is longer than the vertical direction length L1 along the front side face of the body of a vertical wall part 24A of the cowl inner 24 from the forefront K1 of a coupling part of the flange 24B on the cowl inner 24 with the flange 22C on the cowl outer 22 to a bent part 24D.
