PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating die capable of being adapted to change of coating width and various stripe patterns without replacing a shim plate. SOLUTION: A top face defining a die land of a slot die 12 is formed by arranging a plurality of keyboard members 25A to 25E in a piano keyboard form along a longitudinal direction of the slot die 12, and positioning mechanisms 26A to 26E is provided in each of the keyboard members 25A to 25E. A gap opening between a bottom face 24 of the die land and each of the keyboard members 25A to 25E can be adjusted by moving the keyboard members 25A to 25E up and down using the positioning mechanisms 26A to 26E, and at least one of the keyboard members 25A to 25E is brought into close contact with the bottom face 24 of the die land to form a region where no coating solution is discharged, and is made to function as a shim plate and a stripe partition plate.
