The screw-type extruding machine has a cylinder with a catchment area where a roller as well as an opening is arranged. The cylinder has slots inside the catchment area. The slots are trained toward the cylinder and arranged on a sub level of the catchment area and in the cylinder section below the opening. The slots have a length toward the longitudinal axis of cylinder, which amounts to at most 50% of the total groove length.
