A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SIGNAL SPLITTING AND SYNTHESIZING

An asynchronous signal splitting method comprises: store respectively the asynchronous frame signal needed to be split in sequence of frames, wherein the signal is in the unit of data frame, when n frames has been stored, transmit the n data frames parallelly through n channels, and repeat the process above; wherein, n is the multiple number between the rate level of the signal before splitting and that of the signal after splitting; and a splitting apparatus thereof. A signal synthesizing method comprises: store respectively the parallel n channels of signal needed to be synthesized in sequence of frames, wherein the signal is in the unit of dada frame, when the n channels of signal have been stored till each one finishes a frame, then read out the stored n channels of signal data frame in sequence in the unit of frame, repeat the process above; and a synthesizing apparatus thereof. The signal splitting/synthesizing method and apparatus are simple to realize, and have not restriction on each frame byte of the asynchronous signal, thus it can be applied not limit to the asynchronous frame signal of optical transmission network.
