PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take measures against inconveniencies that a drive circuit block does not need additional parts and circuits to resolve the temperature dependency of light emission luminance, does not require occupation space increased, and does not face cost rise of the whole device. SOLUTION: In a self luminous display panel, a self luminous element 1 is arranged on a support substrate 10, where the self luminous element 1 has a first electrode 11, at least one or more layers of light emitting function layers 12 formed on the first electrode 11, and a second electrode 13, and the light emission luminance of the self luminous element 1 is caused by a voltage applied between the first and second electrodes 11, 13. At least one temperature compensation function layer 14 is laminated and formed in series to a supply route of the voltage applied between the first and second electrodes 11, 13, where the temperature compensation function layer 14 is made of a conductive material with a temperature-resistance characteristic similar to a temperature-resistance characteristic of the light emitting function layer 12.
