POLYGLYCOLIC ACID RESIN-BASED LAYERED SHEET AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

It is intended to provide a layered sheet which is excellent in oxygen-barrier properties and resistance against vapor transmission, is made of biodegradable materials as a whole, and is suitable as a base material for packaging materials such as food containers. The layered sheet is formed by layering a moisture-containing and biodegradable high-molecule base sheet in the state of containing moisture or a precursor thereof and a polyglycolic acid resin layer having a residual monomer content of 0.5% by weight or less and then hot-press molding the same.
