<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hazardous substance uptake material which has sufficient water permeability and adsorptivity and exhibits successful liquid cleanability. <P>SOLUTION: The hazardous substance uptake material which is prepared by kneading 25 to 35 parts by volume cement-based binder having fineness of specific surface area 5,000 cm<SP>2</SP>/g and 15 to 14 parts by volume with with 100 parts by volume wooden fragments of 1 to 5 mm in minor diameter, molding the resultant mixture to a prescribed shape and solidifying the molding, and having 40 to 50% void fraction is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
