摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish reduction in the cost of a motor cooling structure so constructed as to enhance cooling efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A lubricating oil passage 51 for supplying lubricating oil to a journal bore 41 is formed in a cylinder block 40. A cooling oil chamber 75 is formed in a holder 68 that forms a rotor 23, and a cooling oil passage 76 that connects the lubricating oil passage 51 and the cooling oil chamber 75 is formed in a crank shaft 20 and the holder 68. Thus, part of the lubricating oil supplied toward a crank journal 43 can be distributed to the cooling oil chamber 75, and the rotor 23 can be directly cooled using the lubricating oil. Therefore, the efficiency of cooling a motor-generator 18 can be enhanced. The oil-cooled motor-generator 18 can be coupled with a conventional engine just by additionally machining the crank shaft 20 to form the cooling oil passage 76 there.
