PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor capable of restraining insulation failure of a rotor from being caused. SOLUTION: An insulation coating C is performed for this motor 1 with the rotor 7 heated when metallic sleeves 14, 15 for reinforcing a shaft 8 are used. Air sealed in a gap between edge surfaces 14a, 15a of the sleeves 14, 15 and edge surfaces 5a, 5b of a core portion 5 is discharged to the outside as air bubbles during assembly of the rotor 7 by thermal expansion of the rotor 7. The insulation failure of the rotor 7 can be caused by generation of such air bubbles. Under this constitution, groove portions extended in an axial line L direction of the shaft 8 are provided at inner periphery surfaces 14b, 15b of the sleeves 14, 15, and air can be discharged to the outside through the groove portions 20 during insulation coating, therefore, generation of the air bubbles from a joint portion between the core portion 5 and the sleeves 14, 15 can be eliminated, thus restraining generation of the insulation coating failure of the rotor 7.
