<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformer housing vessel and a fuel reforming device causing a low power generation loss and capable of maintaining a satisfactory degree of vacuum in the fuel reformer housing vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel reformer housing vessel comprises: a base body 1 having a cavity for housing a fuel reformer 9 therein, the fuel reformer 9 generating a reformed gas including a hydrogen gas from fuel; a lid 4 attached to a top face of the base body 1 and covering the cavity; a discharge pipe 5b connecting the inside of the cavity to the outside to discharge the reformed gas from the fuel reformer 9; a supply pipe 5a connecting the inside of the cavity to the outside to supply fuel to the fuel reformer 9; and a lead terminal 2 for power feed that penetrates through the base body 1 or the lid 4. A gas adsorbing material 10 is placed in the cavity, and the lid 4 or the base body 1 is provided with a window 4a for letting in a light beam to be applied to the gas adsorbing material 10 from the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
