<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell automobile which can be disposed at a suitable position without restriction in layout, and reduce cost. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell automobile comprises a fuel cell 3 generating power by electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen, and hydrogen tanks 19, 20 storing pressurized hydrogen and supplying hydrogen to the fuel cell 3. The fuel cell 3 and the hydrogen tanks 19, 20 are disposed in an underfloor area of a vehicle. A side airbag device 37 is developed according to detection results of a side G sensor S3 disposed on a side portion of the fuel cell 3 and a rear G sensor S4 disposed on side portions of the hydrogen tanks 19, 20, and a shut-off valve and each contactor are blocked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
