PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water storage tank cleaning clarification system and a waste water storage tank cleaning clarification method, without requiring new water for cleaning and clarification, by effectively cleaning and clarifying a waste water storage tank by a simple device and a method. SOLUTION: This waste water storage tank cleaning clarification system 1 is a cleaning clarification system used for cleaning and clarifying the waste water storage tank 7 stuck or deposited with a cleaning object 11 including the oil content by storing waste water 8 including at least the oil content 9; and includes a solubilizing means 2 for solubilizing the oil content included in the waste water 8 and the cleaning object 11 into the waste water 8, and a cleaning clarification means 4 for cleaning and clarifying the waste water storage tank 7 by splashing the waste water 8 of solubilizing the oil content 9 by the solubilizing means 2 on the cleaning object.
