IMAGE SUPPLY DEVICE, IMAGING APPARATUS, IMAGE OUTPUT APPARATUS, AND THEIR CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image supply device capable of accessing a storage medium in a state that the image supply device is connected to an external device by solving a problem of a conventional image supply device that cannot access a storage medium loaded to the device in a state that the image supply device is connected to an external device.

SOLUTION: Even when the image supply device is in a state of capable of actually making communication with the external device and of a storage medium loaded to the image supply device, the image supply device informs the external device about information representing that the image supply device is in a communication disabled state and no storage medium is loaded to the image supply device. Thus, the image supply device can bring the external device into an access denied state to the storage medium so that the image supply device can access the storage means.
