<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a desired exercise effect to a user in a swing type exercise device which imparts an exercise load imitating horse riding to the user by swinging a seat part where the user is sitting. <P>SOLUTION: The body weight of the user sitting on the seat part 2 is acquired in a body weight measuring part 51, and a body weight display part 53 stores the measured result, also displays it together with past data and feeds it back to the user. Thus, the user can accurately confirm the exercise effect indicating how much the body weight has reduced in what length of a period more in details when comparing it with past (time-sequential) body weight data. Thus, the exercise desire of the user is improved and continuity is improved. Also, when the effect as expected is not obtained, the user can be urged or the like as well.
