PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump unit capable of accurately and successively supplying stable fuel from a fuel injection valve by eliminating influence of bubbles generated by lean fuel discharged to the inside of a pump accommodating recess through a discharge hole of a pressure regulator. SOLUTION: In the fuel pump unit device, a pump accommodating recess 1c is partitioned into a fuel inflow chamber 7 and a pump chamber 6 by a partition wall 5. While opening a fuel inflow hole 4 in the fuel inflow chamber 7, a regulator fuel discharge hole 2 is opened in the top of the pump chamber 6. While arranging a fuel pump P in the pump chamber, a pump intake passage Pa of the fuel pump P is protrusively arranged in the fuel inflow chamber 7 through the medium of the partition wall 5. A strainer S arranged in the fuel inflow chamber 7 is connected to a pump intake passage Pa protruded inside the fuel inflow chamber 7.
