An identification badge as worn by a soldier is rejected by most people as unattractive, while an implanted chip or any other coded information is suspicious because it cannot be read by the user or the potential helper. The new identification strip is designed as an adhesive foil provided with data important in case of an accident for medical treatment or identification when the person is no longer able to identify him/herself. The strip can be attached to the watch or a piece of jewelry where it can be easily found by a rescuer.
