PLASMA DISPLAY APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the separation of a panel from a holding plate in a plasma display apparatus. SOLUTION: The plasma display apparatus is provided with: a panel 10 in which a pair of substrates of which at least the front side is transparent are disposed opposite to each other so as to form a discharge space between the substrates and which has a plurality of discharge cells; and a metal-made holding plate 14 holding the panel 10 through a thermal conductive member. The thermal conductive member is composed of an extension and exfoliation strip-like adhesive material 17 spaced at a prescribed interval, and the thermal conductive member is so composed that the product of the thickness thereof and the arrangement interval is 10 mm or below.
