ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE AND ULTRASONIC IMAGE DATA PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce black void patterns and to emphatically display turbulence mosaic patterns without degrading a spatial resolution in an ultrasonic color doppler method. SOLUTION: A kernel data storage circuit 42 extracts the kernel data of a prescribed range with an optional pixel of color doppler image data generated by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves to/from a testee body as a center pixel, and a pixel value arraying circuit 43 arrays the pixel values of the kernel data in a size order. Then, a pixel value selection circuit 44 selects the pixel value of a prescribed array order from the plurality of arrayed pixel values. In the meantime, a characteristic discrimination circuit 49 discriminates blood flow characteristics from the information of the size and sign of the pixel value of the kernel data and sets a pixel value selection method suitable for the blood flow characteristics. Then, an output selection circuit 50 selects and outputs either one of the pixel value in the center pixel and the pixel value selected by the pixel value selection circuit 44 on the basis of the pixel value selection method.
