PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent complex composition with a low linear expansion coefficient and superior in heat resistance and transparency, and suitably useful for a transparent plate, an optical lens, a plastic substrate for a liquid crystal display device, a substrate for a color filter, a plastic substrate for an organic EL display device, a substrate for an electronic paper, a solar battery substrate, a touch panel, a light guide plate, an optical element, an optical waveguide and an LED sealing material, etc. SOLUTION: This transparent complex composition comprises a transparent resin (a) and a glass filler (b), wherein the transparent resin comprises an alicyclic epoxy resin represented by following formula (1) as a constituent.
